From Jim Cross WI3N [SM MDC]
We need to close the registration for the DIGITAL Convention on Wednesday night to deal with the logistics that require a head count.
There will be no walk-ins per the rules of the facility so PLEASE don’t procrastinate.
Please go to my website: http://www.arrl-mdc.net for information, directions, lat & long and to register. You may pay by check, PayPal or credit card. We had a brief problem with some versions of Internet Explorer vs PayPal, but that is now fixed.
Presenters and their topics will be:
Bob (WB4APR) Bruninga - APRS - Its lots more than you think
Steve (N3SB) Beckman - Introduction to HF Digital modes (emphasis on PSK31)
Ken (KB3IIE) Greenhouse - Winlink2000, email over the radio
Tom (N4ZPT) Azlin - Introduction to D-Star
Steve (WB8IMY) Ford - Editor of QST Magazine, Introduction to HF Digital Voice

D-Star demo prior to start, during lunch and breaks.
NOTE: We’ll be taking some photos and videotaping for future use with clubs for programs.
If you don’t want to be on tape or in pictures, we’ll have some seating not in the camera’s viewfinder so that you may opt out if you wish.
